Neighborhood

🇺🇸We are located set back off Historic Route 6A!! It is described by National Geographic as one of the World’s Most Scenic Drives; Yankee Magazine has declared it iconic and timeless, and Smithsonian Magazine described it as the most appealing stretch of highway in America. In 2021, Old King’s Highway achieved National Scenic Byway Status. 🇺🇸This particularly scenic byway often follows along the coast as it passes through most Cape towns (excluding Eastham, Wellfleet and part of Truro). Many visitors come to drive its meandering length and experience one of America’s largest historic districts. Travelers on Old King's Highway can see hundreds of historic sites ranging from sea captains’ houses, Pilgrim and other churches, in addition to hundreds of historic and period buildings. Other points of interest include cranberry bogs, salt marshes, and preserved farmlands, and walking and hiking trails abound off the roadway. *Info from Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce

We loved staying in the little cottage while in the Cape for a wedding. It was such a beautiful, charming, place to stay and we wished that we had more time. It was so quiet and peaceful and had everything we needed.

The cottage was like home. I was visiting friends nearby and needed a space to write, rest, and have access to the CCRT bike path. The cottage was private and quiet, yet accessible to all the things I needed to do. The place was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. I had everything I needed! I cooked all my own meals and there were plenty of utensils and dishes. I brought my own coffee maker but there was coffee supplies and even a bottle of wine to welcome guests. Cozy breakfast nook was a great place to write and enjoy meals. ROKU TVs. Bathroom shower was fully tiled. Comfortable Screened in porch was a great place to keep my bike overnight which really helped because it rained one evening. While I didn’t use, there was an outdoor shower, gas grill, and fire pit and chairs. Super responsive host. My favorite rental after many years coming to the Cape. I’ll be back! Awesome!
