Cape Cod Salt Houses

This was our second stay at Whitecap Cottage. Micaran provides all of the essentials, and the cottage is very clean, cozy, and inviting. Everything was perfect. The setting is quiet, and the location is great for accessing all parts of the Cape. We especially enjoyed having breakfast and coffee on the screened in porch and reading and having early evening drinks there as well.

I cannot say enough about how perfect the cottage is. Every little detail was attended to! It was spotless, perfectly decorated, cozy and comfortable. It’s truly a home away from home. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

It was my first time renting a house on the Cape. For my first experience, I am delighted to have rented this place. everything in the description was exactly as listed. The beach house was perfect in the Cape Cod setting. I loved the proximity to the beach by foot. Also able to walk down to a restaurant. Micaran was very responsive and detailed everything perfectly. I would definitely consider renting here again.

My wife and I have been staying here since 2008. First under the original owners Michael and Cheryl DiVito when it was known as Michael’s Cottages and then when it was purchased and run by Geraldine and Matt. It is a great pleasure to see they their meticulous attention to detail has been carried on. The renovations are lovely without destroying that old Cape cottage feel. We highly recommend it.

Nicest Airbnb I have stayed at thus far. Very functional home, super clean and you feel like you’re right at home! Love the cape, been coming here for years and can’t wait to do it again in 2026!

Smart use of small space, with thoughtful extras like coffee, cream and sugar — and a welcome bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Looks just like the images posted. Very responsive, considerate host, quick to reply to our questions, and ready with suggestions for the local area. Definitely recommend!

This cottage was an absolute joy to stay in! We had 2 adults, 3 kids, and a dog, so definitely cozy, but it was exactly what we were looking for — to be a safe, cute touch down space in between the beach and all the activities we had planned. It was in the perfect location, short walk to the beach! Kids loved the outdoor shower after our daily beach trips and we took advantage of the small outdoor patio for meals and card games. Convenient for dog walking and quick drives to multiple area attractions. Micaran was a great host! Great amenities included and kitchen was well equipped given small size. She was quick and responsive to messages, great recommendations for food, attractions, and things to do. I would add this location is 4 minutes away from one of the cape cod baseball teams and within a half hour of multiple other teams. A free, fun night to take in good baseball with kids. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!

This is the perfect stay for two! The cottage was even sweeter in person. The space was clean and having a grille/outdoor fire pit was great. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Our stay at the Whitecap cottage was everything we could have hoped for. The property was quiet and private and exactly as described. It was a great base for our week in the cape. Micaran was an attentive host who proactively reached out to see if we needed anything and provided wealth of information about the area. Would 100% stay in Whitecap or one of his other cottages in the future. Great property and host.

Micron’s place was exactly as described and truly perfect for two. Centrally located it made it easy for us to visit different parts of the cape each day. We also looked forward to going back to the house knowing we had a clean shower, comfortable bed, and relaxing private outdoor space to return to.
